What More Can You Say Than - WOW...
Yesterdays storms ended with a total of 44 tornadoes and 8 deaths in several states. This slow moving storm might be one for the record books as it continues to drop dozens of tornadoes daily and draw bulleyes on small Midwestern towns. Today shows a moderate risk over central Kansas and western Oklahoma and a slight risk over the Great Lakes region through upstate New York, touching Vermont.
I can't help but cringe every time I hear a TV interview from a survivor of a tornado and I hear, "The storm just came out of nowhere." When a storm system as large as this one is moving across the Midwest, one would think the news would be hard to ignore, since it has been on 24/7 on every network. If you live in a region like this, and don't pay much attention to the radio or TV, get a weather radio and plug it in and forget it. The radio will set off tones when needed, something as simple as this can save your life.
If weather starts to break out in my area, I will be heading out to check out any storms in the area, finally something to do that is relaxing.
