The half and half squirrel of Put-In-Bay - Click on image for full size photo.
Yesterday the family and I went to Put-In-Bay, Ohio for a family day, since Mary has Thursday's off and I have been working most weekends. This works out great because we don't have to fight the crowds most weekends present. We visited the crystal cave and the butterfly house and enjoyed the local foods. The thing that caught my eye in the local park was the most bizarre squirrel I have ever seen. Now I have seen black squirrels and gray squirrels, but I have never seen one that is half and half. I talked with a local resident and she said that this spring was the first time they have been seen. Put-In-Bay has mostly black squirrels, but this year has yielded a crop of genetic anomaly's. If anyone has ever seen this before, let me know.
Just thought this was a cool photo, shot it as we got off the Jet Express.
HI ~ came across your PIB squirrel photo, is there any possibility you would let me use it on our Miller Ferries to Put-in-Bay website www.millerferry.com or in a Miller Boat Line enewsletter? Could you email it us?thanks!
